WHAT
Girls Calisthenics Club with Lisa's Living Club
This is a womxn's only event / female inclusive / female identifying.
IMPORTANT: The gym is not closed to the public - we will be using half of the gym space, and the other half is open to members of the gym to access. If you are joining women's only for religious reasons please keep this in mind.
In this beginner friendly class you will focus on the foundations of Calisthenics with Lisa.
This class has a focus on movements like Pull Ups, Dips, Push Ups, Rows and core. This will help you build strength, improve mobility, balance and core. You don't need to be able to do any unassisted pull-ups or dips - we will teach you and help you to progress using bands and other regressions.
We recommend these 2 prerequisites for the class:
you should be able to hold a plank for 20 seconds.
you should be able to hang from a bar for 10 seconds
